Celebrate the anniversary of Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co. with their 1st Year Bash

MAXWELTON, WV (WVNS) — Join the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co. on October 4, 2024 for their 1st Year Bash!

The celebration marks the first anniversary of the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co. (GVBC) returning to operations. GVBC, led by Josh Bennett, stated that community support has been vital to the company’s comeback, according to a press release.

To mark the occasion, they will release Apple-Atcha Honey’d Apple Ale, which will only be available on draft in their Taproom. It contains 6.0 ABV (alcohol by volume) and a 18.6 IBU (international bitterness unit). It contains a traditional ale base, Hawk Knob Fresh Pressed Apple Juice, West Viriginia Wildflower Honey, and Lobelia. It also consists of Huel Melon and Mandarina Bavaria Hops.

The event will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m., with entertainment from Will Sarver from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and karaoke with the Dubee Bros from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Taco Spot will be on site to provide food for guests. Smooth Ambler will also be onsite with their Whiskey Wagon!
