Rainelle Medical Center Player of the Week: Midland Trail QB Thad Brown

HICO, WV (WVNS) – It was an adventurous week for our local high school football teams, with lots of games postponed or canceled due to weather, but that did not stop our Rainelle Medical Center Player of the Week from balling out!

Our Rainelle Medical Center Player of the Week for Week 5 is Midland Trail Quarterback Thad Brown.

Brown went 14/16 passing Friday night, throwing for 232 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 52 yards and three more touchdowns on the ground.

Brown’s fantastic quarterback play helped lead the Patriots to a commanding 46-20 victory over the Summers County Bobcats in a matchup of two of last season’s Single-A playoff teams.
