BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – The legacy of Bob Denver continues, thanks to his wife Dreama.
Dreama Denver’s new book ‘Island to Icon’ follows the life of Bob, on the 60th Anniversary of Gilligan’s Island.

Dreama will be showcasing her book at Tamarack Marketplace on October 6th at 2pm. The book is bound beautifully in a ‘scarp-book’ style layout.

Denver says sometimes when you meet your idols, sometimes you may be a little disappointed, but she says her husband was worth all the hype, and more.

“None of us are perfect, and neither was Bob. But I do want you to know whatever fandom you felt for him, he really was worth it because he was just a human being with a really good heart,” said Denver.

Admission to the event is free, but donations for storm victims including cleaning supplies will be collected. Dreama says she is excited to meet and bond with fans of her books.
