ARH and RGH team up for Coalfields Community health fair

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — Mark your calendars for the Coalfields Community Health Fair! It is happening Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.

Attendees will have the opportunity to check out seminars, visit numerous booths, and engage in health screenings aimed at helping you live a healthier life. This is a great chance to check up on your well-being and connecting with local providers.

“This event is so important because we want our community to take their healthcare into their hands,” said Kelly Elkins, Regional Community Development Manager for Appalachian Regional Health Care.

“We need the community to understand ways that they can keep themselves healthy and keep themselves out of the hospital,” said Tammy Richardson, Director of Case Management at Raleigh General Hospital.
