PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) – Conn-Weld Industries joined in on hurricane relief efforts.

They are taking donations through Wednesday, October 9, 2024 to deliver to those in western North Carolina that were affected by Hurricane Helene. They asked that people donate whatever they can.

Donation locations are set up at Walmart and Lowe’s in Princeton, as well as Sam’s Club and Lowe’s in Bluefield, Virginia.

Anna Semonco, the Director of Business Development at Conn-Weld told 59News this storm hit a little too close to home.

“We have people that work here that know people personally there and so we are going to continuously keep our finger on the pulse of what those needs are and do what we can. We do not want this to be a one-off and move on.”

They have teamed up with the Green River Baptist Association out of Rutherford County, North Carolina to deliver and disperse these donation items.

You can also donate at Conn-Weld’s place of business from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Semonco also mentioned that people with more questions or making monetary donations to storm victims can head over to their website or call them at (304) 487-1421 for more info.
