Code Red status announced by the Fayette County Humane Society

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — As of Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the Fayette County Humane Society is in Code Red.

According to a post on the Fayette County Humane Society’s Facebook page, the shelter is once again at full capacity with no open kennels available as of Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

The shelter stated that there are 22 dogs at the shelter with sponsored adoption fees, and that people can help by adopting, fostering, or donating for the care of the animals.

More information can be found by contacting the Fayette County Humane Society at 304-574-2722 or by going to the shelter, which is located at 513 Shelter Road in Fayetteville, West Virginia.
