MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia University and the Big 12 Conference announced the game times and television/streaming partners for the upcoming 2024-24 WVU men’s basketball season on Wednesday.

Eighteen of West Virginia’s 31 scheduled regular season contests will be streamed exclusively on ESPN+. Those games include the season opener against Robert Morris (Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. ET), the Big 12 opener at Kansas (Dec. 31 at TBA), Arizona’s first-ever appearance inside the WVU Coliseum (Jan. 7 at 7 p.m.) and the regular season finale against UCF (March 8, at 5 p.m.).

West Virginia’s New Year’s Eve meeting with Kansas is the only game on the schedule without a set start time.

Seven men’s basketball games this season will air on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. All three of West Virginia’s games at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in November will air on either ESPN or ESPN2. WVU’s Big 12-Big East Battle contest versus Georgetown (Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.) and Big 12 home game versus Cincinnati (Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.) will be televised on ESPN2. Two other Big 12 games will also air on the ESPN family of networks.

New to Darian DeVries’ schedule this year is a grouping of five conference games that will air exclusively on CBS Sports Network. Among those contests are the Big 12 home opener versus Oklahoma State (Jan. 4 at noon), back-to-back conference games on Jan. 21 and 25, and one of the last home games of the regular season against TCU (Feb. 25 at 9 p.m.).

All games at the Big 12 Championship tournament in mid-March will also be televised on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

This year’s Backyard Brawl versus Pitt at the Petersen Events Center is set for 8 p.m. and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
