LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) – Have you heard of motorcycle gangs like Hell’s Angels, the Outlaws, or the Sons of Silence?

There is one local motorcycle club that is quite the opposite of these gangs. In fact, the Patriots Motorcycle Club is more of a giving and community-minded motorcyclist collective.

Alan Morris, their public relations officer, explained this club was started by a group of 8 men who were helping with flood relief in Rainelle and White Sulphur Springs.

The thing that kept these men together was their love for motorcycles.

“Today, in 2024, we have over 70 members now. We have done a lot more. As time goes on, we get a little bigger and we try to reach out a little further to those folks who need help,” said Morris.

They are now collecting donations for their annual Ride to Give Christmas fund. These donations will be used to help give underprivileged families a Christmas they will never forget.

One way that you can donate is by joining them at 8:30 a.m. at the Walmart in Lewisburg for their Leaf Peepers Ride on Saturday, October 12.
