Saturday evening starts with clear skies and temps in the 60s. Any evening plans tonight will see no interruptions as we continue to enjoy mostly clear skies throughout the overnight. No fog is expected tonight, and you can give the AC a break as temperatures drop into the low 50s and upper 40s.
Sunday begins with lots of sunshine with an easy commute expected for any church goer. Sunny skies into the early afternoon bring temps into the upper 70s as clouds build in some more. It will also get breezy out there with a low pressure system overhead, with 20-30 mph wind gusts possible. As a cold front crosses, isolated to scattered showers, including one or two strong storms with damaging winds and hail, are possible around dusk.
Monday morning starts cold and cloudy with temps in just the 40s! Cloudy skies, with the occasional peak of sunshine, will linger throughout the day. Lowlands will be practically dry, but the eastern mountains will have a chance to see a few light sprinkles while also staying breezy! Temps on Monday are only expected to get into the 50s!
Tuesday morning is frigid with temps in just the 30s! Good reminder to keep those jackets around for those heading to work or the bus stop. A few isolated showers will be possible under mostly cloudy skies for Tuesday – we could even see a few snowflakes across the highest peaks but no accumulations are expected with temps near 50!
Wednesday won’t be the best wakeup call unfortunately in the morning with freezing temps near 30! The lowlands will see clouds break apart throughout the day, while the highest terrains will deal with a stray shower chance early in the day. Any more precip. chances are wrapped up by the evening as temps make it only into the 50s.
Thursday brings back area wide sunshine as high pressure moves back into the region. Still another cold start in the morning with temps in the low 30s, but ample amounts of sunshine will help us move up into the upper 50s.
Friday also looks like a great day – mostly sunny skies once again with our area of high pressure sticking around. Temps in the 30s for the morning will still be a good excuse to pack a jacket, but we warm up quite nicely later in the day into the 60s. Sunny skies into the evening will be perfect for high school football!
Saturday looks like a great start to the weekend with our area of high pressure not going anywhere. Temps near 40 for the morning will warm up into the 50s/60s for lunchtime. By the afternoon, we’re near 70 under mostly sunny skies so enjoy!
In your extended forecast, temps will stay warm on Sunday as temps rise back into the 70s. A cold front will swing by to start the new week, but little to no rain is expected from this system. Instead, it will drop our temps a few degrees down into the middle 60s through midweek. We’ll look to rebound back into the 70s by the following weekend.
