Power outage scheduled in part of Greenbrier County

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — An emergency planned power outage to repair facilities will take place in part of Greenbrier County.

According to a post on the Greenbrier County Homeland Security and Emergency Management Facebook page, a Mon Power emergency planned power outage is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 for facility repairs.

Around 1,160 customers in the Alderson area, as well as the Greenbrier County side of the Town of Alderson, will be affected by the scheduled outage.

Those who will be affected by the planned outage will receive a message to the phone number that is connected to their account.
