Drug Take Back Day to be held in McDowell County

MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A Drug Take Back Day will be held in McDowell County in October 2024.

According to a post on the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, a Drug Take Back Day is planned from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on October 26, 2024.

Secure collection bins will be offered by the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office for the public to get rid of unused or expired medications to help prevent drug misuse.

Anyone with questions about the Drug Take Back Day event can call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 304-436-8523.
