In sync with the Italian jeweler’s legacy of conscripting celebrities for its ad campaigns, the Academy Award-winning actress — who was named global brand ambassador of Damiani last April — follows in the footsteps of other leading stars, from Brad Pitt and Isabella Rossellini to Sharon Stone and Jennifer Aniston.
Shot by Europe- and New York-based photographer JuanKR inside a tony apartment with molding, wainscoting and fine art on the walls, Chastain’s portraits spotlights some of Damiani’s signature high jewels, including the Mimosa parure comprising pendant earrings, three-pendant necklace and ring with rubies and diamonds and the Margherita set featuring earrings, necklace and bracelet, the latter evoking a blossoming lawn.
In other images, the actress, outfitted in a simple black dress with a plunging V-neck, dons jewelry from Damiani’s Belle Epoque and Belle Epoque Reel collections.
The campaign debuts in a milestone year for the Italian jeweler, which marked its centenary with a roving exhibition titled “Damiani 100 x 100 Italiani” displaying 100 one-of-a-kind jewels to showcase the brand’s craftsmanship, design ethos, legacy and avant-garde spirit.

Chastain — who joined South Korean actress and model Lee Sung-Kyoung as a Damiani ambassador — cohosted a gala night in Milan in March to celebrate the brand’s anniversary, which drew Sophia Loren and Sung-Kyoung, as well as local celebrities.
The Hollywood actress, who most recently costarred alongside Anne Hathaway in “Mothers’ Instinct,” a Benoît Delhomme-directed psychological thriller movie, was introduced to the Damiani company and family during a visit to Venini’s premises in Murano, Italy, escorted by Silvia Damiani, vice president of Damiani Group and president of the glassmaker.
The storied high jeweler was founded in Valenza, Italy, in 1924 by Enrico Grassi Damiani, Guido’s grandfather, and has gained celebrity fans including Stone, Loren, Tilda Swinton and Gwyneth Paltrow.
In addition to the namesake brand, the Damiani Group comprises the Bliss label introduced in 2000; jeweler Calderoni, which was acquired in 2006; retailer Rocca, bought in 2008, as well as leading glassmaker Venini, which the group first invested in 2016.
