Pirelli Reveals Preview of 2025 Calendar Featuring Hunter Schafer, Padma Lakshmi and Mugler Muse Connie Fleming

Pirelli has debuted a sneak peek of its 2025 Calendar featuring famous faces like Hunter Schafer , Jodie Turner-Smith and Padma Lakshmi .

Since 1964, the tire company has recruited celebrities and models to pose for its sultry 12-month spread. In this year’s edition, stars including John Boyega, Simone Ashley and Vincent Cassel pose on land and sea, modeling barely-there garments in the Calendar’s grand tradition of nude and seminude photography .

Photographed by Ethan James Green, the 2025 Pirelli Calendar was shot in the Miami Keys between May and June. Green’s work “blends the blends the frankness of his native Midwest with the breadth and brilliance of his adopted city resulting in portraits of astonishing intimacy that capture and amplify the essence of his subjects,” read a statement from Pirelli. “Working in themes such as contemporary identity, sexuality and style, he has built a body of work singular in its depth and point of view.”

The cast of this year’s calendar features Mugler muse Connie Fleming, a transgender icon who cut her teeth modeling for Steven Meisel. The former drag queen famously walked in Mugler’s fall 1989 fashion show, where she wore a rhinestone-spangled cowgirl ensemble that is now considered one of his most iconic designs.

Groundbreaking model Jenny Shimizu also poses for Pirelli’s 2025 lens. She was discovered by Calvin Klein while working as a mechanic, and the brand eventually tapped her as the face of its unisex fragrance, CK One. In 1993, Shimizu became the Asian woman to open and walk in a Prada fashion show.

Green’s photography has appeared in magazines like The New Yorker, Time, Vogue and W. He’s also worked with designers including Versace, Tom Ford, Miu Miu and Dior.

Official imagery for the 2025 Pirelli Calendar will be released later this year.
