Queen Camilla opted for one of her favorite go-to designers for the Ebor Festival in York, England, on Saturday, when she also opened the state-of-the-art complex called the Bustardthorpe Development at the racecourse. The queen consort favored a powder blue dress by Fiona Clare for the occasion.

Camilla’s ensemble featured ornate embroidery along the collar, front placket and cuffs. The details on the column dress included delicate florals and vines with leaves, evocative of romantic summertime inspiration.

Along with the dress, the royal wore a Philip Treacy hat with a band of blue fabric and delicate detailing. The white hat included a feather in the band of fabric. She also wore a pair of neutral Eliot Zed heels.

Queen Camilla has long been a fan of Fiona Clare’s designs, much like another go-to designer Anna Valentine. The queen consort’s style consistently marries her signature column dress silhouette with long sleeves with playful patterns and vibrant hues.

Throughout her husband, King Charles III’s reign , Queen Camilla has consistently demonstrated confidence in her style. Although the silhouette of her dresses seldom alters, the queen consort is rarely opposed to toying with pattern, color, accessories or even repurposing some of her favorite pieces by her most reliable designers.
