Queen Maxima of the Netherlands took on nautical inspiration for her latest look during a daytime royal engagement on Tuesday. The royal visited the Team Future foundation, which supports children in Delfshaven, a borough of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

For her royal outing, Queen Maxima paired a crisp white vest from Zara with blue Natan trousers. The trousers, courtesy of the Belgian l a b e l , featured a high-waisted silhouette and wide-leg cut. Queen Maxima paired her double-breasted white Zara vest with a white cotton shirt beneath.

Along with her royal engagement apparel, Queen Maxima added further touches to her nautical look. The royal wore a pair of navy slingback pumps courtesy of Guglielmo Rotta, based in Italy, and carried a shoulder bag by Marni.

When it came to her accessories, Queen Maxima opted for two statement pieces. The royal wore a pair of large, curved gold hoop earrings by Danish brand Monies and also wore an ornately designed necklace by Pauline Wiertz, made of gilt and ceramic “peanut” beads painted in shades of blue, gold and white.
