Willow Smith Marries Feminine Silhouettes With Sculpted Curves in Leather and Denim for Acne Studios Fall 2024 Collection Campaign

Willow Smith is the star of Acne Studios’ fall 2024 campaign. The singer and artist models pieces from the Swedish luxury fashion house’s new collection, featuring leather and denim pieces with a futuristic aesthetic.

New Jersey-born photographer Jordan Hemingway captures Smith’s “signature serenity and strength” throughout the campaign images, evocative of a mechanical mood that marries Acne Studio’s futuristic designs.

The collection merges feminine silhouettes with sculpted curves. Along with apparel, the campaign also highlights accessories from the fall 2024 collection runway, including the Multipocket “tool bag,” featured in new crinkled and studded iterations, and the Bowlina “bowling bag,” featuring a metal plaque and reimagined in various sizes.

Smith attended the fall 2024 collection showcase during Paris Fashion Week last February. The artist also incorporated pieces from the collection into her wardrobe, wearing a selection to the “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” Hollywood red carpet premiere last May.

“This campaign feels so genuine to both Acne Studios and myself, not just the clothing — although the oversize shearling jacket made me feel so good — but who they work with and how they do it,” Smith said of the fall 2024 collection. “Our collaboration felt so natural from start to finish, I really can’t wait for this campaign to live in the world.”

Smith’s collaboration with Acne Studios on the fall 2024 collection campaign not only engages with a younger audience, but also cements the fashion house’s growing foothold in the music world. Acne Studios announced its partnership with Spotify last June. “I love creative talents in any field, especially musicians as music is such a big part of my life,” said Jonny Johansson, the creative director of Acne Studios, in a statement.

“Willow Smith inspires me as her creative style perfectly aligns with the Acne Studios commitment to individuality and nonconformity. As a cultural icon, especially among younger audiences, Willow embodies the authenticity that we celebrate. She was a perfect fit for our fall 2024 collection.”

Among the pieces from the fall 2024 collection that made their runway debut during Paris Fashion Week, denim selections featured “oil-coated, metallic and rust-inspired treatments,” wrote WWD’s Joelle Diderich in the review. Other highlights from the collection include a funnel-necked jacket and floor-length buttoned coats.
