Serena Williams went lacy for her look at the premiere of “Exhibiting Forgiveness” in Los Angeles on Thursday. The 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion joined other A-list stars like Oprah Winfrey, Titus Kaphar and two-time Oscar winner Ruth E. Carter at the event.

For the occasion, Williams opted for a lacy and sheer matching set. The sports icon wore a cropped, long-sleeve blouse with a coordinated pencil skirt. The fabric of both pieces featured allover black lace detailing, with a bevy of floral patterns throughout.

Williams paired the look with several accessories, included layered necklaces, several rings and a few bracelets.

When it came to her glam, Williams wore her naturally in voluminous curls. Her makeup also included a bold, smokey eyes and natural lip. Williams’ makeup look was created using products from her Wyn Beauty makeup collection , which she launched last April.

Following her evolution away from tennis, which she announced in 2022, Williams continued to grow her business ventures with her makeup brand. Wyn Beauty also pays homage to Williams’ decorated tennis career. “Our chartreuse pays homage to the tennis ball, which kind of pays homage to championships, which pays homage to the idea of winning,” Williams told WWD’s Beauty Inc.

Williams’ direct-to-consumer makeup brand, available in Ulta Beauty stores and on Wyn Beauty’s official site, focuses on accommodating active lifestyles. “It could be someone who’s going to work for a 9-to-5; it could be me, a mom — it could be someone who works at home and is on Zoom meetings. Active doesn’t mean you have to win Grand Slams or Wimbledon trophies — which is OK, too, because — check,” Williams said.

“It’s about that one-application makeup where you can apply it once and be able to rely on it the entire day.” Since the launch of Wyn Beauty in April, Williams has been promoting her brand on social media, using the makeup products for various events and more.
