The up-and-coming model donned a cream satin top with floral appliqués and baggy cargo trousers. His accessories included square-toe snakeskin shoes, a black leather belt and one of the label’s signature Rollup handbags.

“So grateful to be a part of this beautiful show,” Smith wrote on Instagram.

Smith’s mother, Solange, sat in the front row alongside other VIP attendees like Jack Harlow and Marina Abramović. Smith is Solange’s only son with her ex-husband Daniel Smith, who she was married to from 2004 to 2007.

Julez made his runway debut during Luar’s fall 2024 fashion show in February, with his superstar aunt and his grandmother, Tina Knowles, sitting in the front row.

Smith is currently signed to Next Management , an agency that has represented top models such as Anok Yai, Abbey Lee and Ali Michael.

Smith has also walked the runway for labels like Versace, Bluemarble and Off-White. He’s even made red carpet appearances at the Met Gala and more recently, the MTV Video Music Awards, where he sported a checkered Wales Bonner varsity jacket.

During New York Fashion Week, Smith returned to the Luar runway, modeling in the brand’s spring 2025 presentation.

“Love you endlessly unc!” he said in an Instagram post following the show, referring to creative director Raul Lopez .

“Luke and Lucie Meier find beauty in melancholy, and cued up a moody Jil Sander show with undercurrents of cowboy, rockabilly and ‘Bladerunner,'” wrote WWD’s Miles Socha of the label’s latest collection.

“Obviously the world is a bit in a dark moment,” Lucie Meier explained.

The designers took inspiration from Canadian photographer Greg Girard, whose eerie metropolitan works were translated into the collection’s color palette and prints.

“I remember Vancouver feeling like that, especially at night, where you have these sort of really synthetic colors, and it’s very empty,” said Luke Meier.
