Cher Maintains Her Edge in Chain and Safety Pin-adorned Blazer at Chaz Bono’s ‘Little Bites’ Premiere in Los Angeles

Cher embraced a punk aesthetic while attending the premiere of her son Chaz Bono’s new horror film, “Little Bites.” The singer, who is set to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show later this month, opted for a cream blazer with punk embellishments.
Her jacket featured chains draped over the right shoulder and near the cuff of the sleeve. The opposite sleeve was adorned with mismatched safety pins, while additional safety pins and metal trinkets embellished the rest of the jacket. Graffiti-like text, including “N.Y.C.,” decorated the right side. Black trim outlined the sleeves and edges, along with black buttons.
She paired the jacket with a sheer striped black top, black skinny jeans and laceless knee-high boots. Her accessories included silver, chain-inspired jewelry, stacked rings, thin, stacked belts with stud embellishments and a delicate chain necklace. Bono, who also stars in the film, opted for light blue, plaid blazer, khaki pants and a white button-up dress shirt.
While Cher’s style has certainly evolved over her prolific career, she has gravitated toward slicker, edgier looks over the past few years. In a May appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” she added a lingerie-inspired twist to her outfit by pairing a lace bodysuit with a cropped black blazer, tucked into plaid trousers.
In June, she surprised patrons at The Abbey to showcase Cherlato, her gelato company. She wore a white blazer and top adorned with a line of large, pearl-like baubles down the middle, with detailing on each side. She completed the look with flared jeans and pointed toe pumps.
Cher is set to headline Victoria’s Secret first big runway showcase in six years — and she’ll be leading a lineup of all-women artists for the first time in the lingerie brand’s fashion show history. Tyla, the singer of “Water,” and Lisa from Blackpink are set to perform alongside Cher, with additional performers to be announced closer to the Oct. 15 event.
