Lunya, Prince Street Pizza Team Up for Pajama and Pizza Party Collaboration

In honor of its 10-year anniversary, luxury sleepwear label Lunya has teamed up with New York’s famed Prince Street Pizza to on Thursday release a pizza-centric fashion and food collaboration.

“Having some pizza and going to bed is our idea of a perfect night,” Lunya founder Ashley Merrill told WWD. The collaboration pays homage to the brand’s bestselling washable silk pajamas (which regulate to natural body temperatures)  à la a washable silk sleep shirt in a debut marinara red colorway, playfully decorated with an embroidered pizza slice on its pocket. The cozy sleep top, priced $188, will be available for purchase exclusively on the brand’s website.

“Lunya is turning 10 this year. We’re honored to have been elevating rest for an entire decade, so knew we needed to have a worthy birthday party! Though we take sleep seriously, we’ve always been irreverent at our core (and have a healthy appreciation for a good snack),” Merrill said. She added that Prince Street Pizza shares the restwear label’s commitment to craft; penchant for humor and joy, and are “as obsessive about their ingredients as we are about our fabrics.”

In addition, on Thursday, New Yorkers can also purchase the duo’s Lunya x Prince Street specialty dessert pizza — a Nutella, marshmallow and cinnamon streusel topped pie — exclusively at the pizzeria’s Nolita storefront on Prince Street.
