WARREN (WWJ) -- A Warren woman is being held on a $1 million bond, after it's alleged that she tried to kill five people by setting their house on fire.

The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said 27-year-old London Johnson is charged with five counts of attempted murder, a life felony, plus one count of second degree arson, a 20-year felony.

According to investigators, on Thursday, August 1, it's alleged that Johnson intentionally set the home she shared with five people, including two children, on fire.

It is also alleged that Johnson blocked the two exits from the home, according to the prosecutor's office.

Johnson was arraigned 37th District Court where a judge ordered that, if she is released on bond, she wear a steel cuff tether. Johnson was also referred to Community Corrections for a mental health screening.

"By allegedly setting fire to the home, the defendant not only endangered the lives of the five occupants but also put the entire community at risk. We will pursue justice for the victims and hold her accountable for her actions," said Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido, in a statement.

Authorities have not said if, or how Johnson is related to the victims, or what her motive might have been.

Johnson's next court date is a probable cause conference scheduled for August 13.
