(WWJ) Half-a-dozen people were taken into custody during Michigan State Police raids in Macomb and Wayne Counties on Thursday.

Providing details about the busts, the MSP said its Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team seized fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and crack, along with seven firearms while executing six search warrants.

Detectives also seized over $50,000, MSP said.

Police said six suspects were arrested in the operation, which also involved the FBI, Border Patrol, Downriver SWAT, and the Southeast Michigan Automobile Crime Consortium.

No information has yet been released about the suspects, who were jailed pending prosecutor’s review.

The investigation was supported by grant funds awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
