CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) Michigan State Police and the Clinton Township Police Department thank the public for their help in reuniting a nonverbal teen with his family.

"Thanks to some very helpful information relayed by the community, this gentlemen is being reunited with his father. Thank you all for your assistance," Clinton Township Police said on their Facebook page.

In a statement on X, Michigan State Police Second District said Metro North Post troopers were dispatched to the area of eastbound I-94 at Harper on Monday morning. When they arrived, they found a teen boy walking along the freeway.

He is nonverbal and may have autism, State Police said.

The teen is described as approximately 5’9” and 140 lbs. He is wearing a white t-shirt, “Simpsons” cartoon yellow shorts, and black socks with gray slides.

Police did not give any additional information.

WOW, I can't even stomach anything like that. I've seen 5 ppl in a Pinto that had an accident, & to see flesh burning is a smell that I'll never forget & to hear them screaming for help & it was nothing the bystanders could do. All 5 perished including 3 small kids 😢😣
