DETROIT (WWJ) Police arrested a teen in an illegal 3D printed gun bust on Detroit’s east side.

Police said their Gang Intel Unit and Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant on Wednesday (9/4) at a home on Anglin Street at Remington, in the area of Dequindre and 8 Mile.

Officers found 3D-printed gun parts, 3D printers, a drill press, multiple rounds of ammunition, and numerous firearms parts from the home.

Investigators did not release the exact age or gender of the teen.

“Great work by all involved,” police said in a press release. “Thank you to our officers for their continued efforts in keeping our community safe.”
