    Police searching for 'armed and dangerous' man wanted in connection with shooting Monday in Detroit

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are searching for a man wanted in a shooting after an argument on Monday, on the city's east side.

    According to investigators, the suspect — identified as 48-year-old Brandon Gaynor — was with another man outside of a location in the 1000 block of Lenox St., near Jefferson Ave., just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 9.

    The two men became involved a "verbal altercation," police said, before it's alleged that Gaynor fired shots, wounding the victim.

    The victim, a 50-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital for treatment has has since been released.

    As of Thursday, police were still searching for Gaynor, whom police said should be considered armed and dangerous.
