DETROIT (WWJ) -- Do you know this man?

The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the public to help identify a suspect in a deadly shooting at a party, last weekend on the city's east side.

According to police, the suspect "exchanged words" with the victim, a 30-year-old man, while attending a gathering in the 19200 block Conant, north of 7 Mile Rd., on Sunday, Oct. 6.

At around 2 a.m., police said the suspect pulled a gun and fired multiple shots, fatally wounding the victim.

The suspect was last seen wearing a tan hat, tan hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.

As the investigation continues, anyone who recognizes this suspect, or has any information that could help, is asked to call the DPD Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-Speak Up (1-800-773-2587).

There is also a $1,000 reward being offered for the tip that leads to an arrest in this case through DetroitRewards.TV at this link. The case number 2410060042 must be included when leaving the tip.
