Hot summer weekend with scattered storms on Sunday

It will be hot to start the weekend, but not out of the ordinary for this time of year, says WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler.

"Sunny skies on tap for our Saturday. It will be a beautiful summer day," said Alexa. "We'll be hot and humid, but typical for late August. Our high temperatures in the afternoon will be in the low 90s."

Today's rain chances are just ten percent, but rain chances increase to 30 percent tomorrow.
