City's defenses and service providers prepare ahead of Tropical Storm Francine

With considerable rainfall and storm surge expected from Tropical Storm Francine, it is important to know if the city is ready for such conditions.

Councilman Joe Giarusso updated Tommy Tucker on where everything stands.

"Reached out to Sewerage and Water Board last night. They are at seventy megawatts of power, which their need is fifty, so that's good."

And of Entergy he says, "They have a couple of different plans depending on how things go and how severe the impact.
