Two teens shot in St. Charles Parish

A shooting has left two teens wounded.

"Deputies responded to the area of Lily Street and Pine Street in Boutte in response to a shooting involving two male teenagers," The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office posted. "One of the teenagers sustained a gunshot wound to the hand, while the other was shot multiple times, airlifted to the hospital, and is in serious condition."

It happened around 8:30pm.

There was no information about any suspects or motive for the shooting.

"Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Detective Joshua Deroche at 985-783-1135 during business hours or 985-783-6807 after hours."
