Hail Caesar! The remodeled Caesars Hotel and Casino makes its debut

We sat back and watched as Caesars Hotel and Casino undertook a massive rebranding and renovation of Harrah's with many of us wondering over the last three years, when will it be eady?

Well, the wait is over as the entertainment giant puts the finishing touches on the venue.

President and CEO of New Orleans and Company Walter Leger says the addition of the Caesars brand underscores New Orleans as a top hospitality destination.

"It's a luxury brand and frankly, I think there were people who were not as interested in visiting Harrah's but they are excited to visit Caesars New Orleans."

Leger says the new venue is now a part of what is becoming a luxury corridor at the foot of Canal St.

"With the Four Seasons investment and the renovations at the aquarium, there's more than a billion dollars of investment in this area alone and it will provide residents and visitors with unique, luxurious experiences."
