Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify a person they believe may have played a role in the death of a Baton Rouge therapist whose body was found in a tarp on the side of US 51 on Sunday.

Detectives have identified the deceased as William Nicholas Abraham.
According to a Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, A passerby found the tarp around 8 a.m. Sunday while driving between Fluker and the village of Tangipahoa. An autopsy found that Abraham, 69, died of blunt force trauma.

On Monday, deputies released surveillance photos of a man whom they say is the last person known to have driven Abraham’s car. Baton Rouge police found that vehicle on Monday afternoon and tried to pull it over during a traffic stop.
The driver of the car sped away, crashed the car, and then ran from police.

If you know who the person in the pictures is, call the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-902-2008 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-554-5245.
