Weekend fun in and around New Orleans

The Gretna Fest runs all weekend on the Westbank.

St. Tammany Parish Fair is in Covington through Sunday.

The fair started in 1910.

"While many things have changed over the years, one thing still remains the same: the focus on our community," Organizer say on their website.

It's Blues, Brews & BBQ in St. Bernard Parish on Judge Perez in Violet Saturday.

"This is a family-friendly event with FREE admission featuring great blues music, refreshing brews, and delicious BBQ," organizers say.

The Fried Chicken Festival is at the UNO Lakefront Saturday and Sunday.

Organizers say they are "bringing hundreds of thousands together from across the U.S. through a shared love of fried chicken."
