Record: 5-1. Ranked 9th in the AP Top 25 poll and 8th in the Coaches Poll.

The Rebels won their first four games in blow out fashion, beating Furman, Middle Tennessee, Wake Forest and Georgia Southern by a combined score 220 to 22.

They hit a major speed bump on September 28th when they lost to Kentucky 20-to-17 but rebounded with a solid road win over South Carolina 27-3.

Head Coach: Lane Kiffin (5th Season)

Kiffin is 39-16 at Ole Miss and he’s led the Rebels to two New Year’s Six appearances. The 2023 season set a school record for most wins in a season as the Rebels went 11-2 and beat Penn State 38-25 in the Peach Bowl.

Kiffin’s all-time record is 100-50. Kiffin (100) and LSU’s Brian Kelly (190) are the lone active SEC head coaches with 100 career FBS victories.

Since 2021, the Rebels are 34-11, third most wins in the SEC in that span.

Ole Miss ranks 2nd in the country in total offense with 577 yards per game.

Ole Miss ranks 12th in total defense at 268 yards per game. They ranked 70th last year.

QB Jaxson Dart 6-2 225 SR Kaysville, Utah.

Three-year starter who ranks third in school history in passing yards with 8,438. Transferred from USC in 2022. He’s 23-8 as a starter. Dart also owns the highest Pro Football Focus Passer Rating of 91.8, which is higher than Miami’s Cam Ward and Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia

RB Henry Parrish Jr 5-10 185 SR Goulds, Fla

Parrish is third in the SEC with 570 rushing yards with a 6.3 average. His nine rushing touchdowns are third in the SEC. Parrish started his collegiate career at Ole Miss in 2020, transferred to Miami in 2021 and returned to Ole Miss this season after leading the Hurricanes in rushing in 2022 and 2023.

Ole Miss could lead on Parrish even more on Saturday night, because the Rebels second leading rusher Matt Jones is listed doubtful

WR Antwane “Juice” Wells 6-0 205 pounds SR Richmond, Virginia

Leading receiver Tre Harris is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against LSU so Juice Wells will likely need to step up. He has 17 catches for 371 yards, averaging 22 yards a catch and four touchdowns. Spent the last two seasons in South Carolina. Only played three games last year because of a foot injury. But in 2022, he had 68 catches for 928 yards and six touchdowns. Led all SEC players with 555 yards after the catch.

DE Jared Ivey 6-6, 285 pounds, Suwanee Georgia

Ivey leads the Rebels in sacks with five after picking up two sacks last week at South Carolina. In 51 career games between Ole Miss and Georgia Tech, he has 15.5 sacks. As a team Ole Miss leads the SEC in sacks with 24.

LB Chris “Pooh” Paul Jr.  6-1 235 JR Cordele, Georgia

Ole Miss invested heavily in the transfer portal to improve its defense after the 2023 season and Paul is one of the guys Kiffin brought in. He’s a veteran of the SEC after three seasons at Arkansas where he had 137 total tackles and 15 tackles for a loss and six sacks. This season he has 41 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

CB Trey Amos 6-1 190 pounds SR New Iberia, LA

Amos had a monster game at South Carolina with eight tackles and one interception. He has two interceptions on the season. A transfer from Alabama who started his career with the Ragin Cajuns. Preseason All-SEC second team selection by College Football News.
