Get ready for much cooler weather in Southeast Louisiana, after one more very warm day.

"It will be another warm day with afternoon highs running above normal in the mid and some upper 80s," WWL TV Meteorologist Brooke Laizer forecasts. "Feels like temperatures will run a few degrees higher than actual temperatures."

She says the strong cold front will move through late tonight and sharply drop temperatures.

"Waking up, you can expect the 60s and a significant northerly breeze Wednesday. Highs will like struggle to get to 70."

Laizer says Thursday it gets noticeably colder.

"Thursday and Friday look to be the chilliest mornings with 40s and 50s and daytime highs in the low to mid 70s."
