Cold front brings cooler weather to Southeast Louisiana

The front has arrived, and it brings the first blast of colder weather this season.

"The first true cold front of the fall season is here today," WWL TV Meteorologist Alexa Trischler told us. "It will feel a lot cooler and not humid at all the next several days."

She forecast that across Southeast Louisiana today, high temps will struggle to get to 70.

"It will be windy and sunny today... Tonight will be chilly and breezy with low temperatures dropping down into the 40s north and 50s south."

Trischler says it will be chilly the next few mornings with cool and sunny afternoons.
