Portion of Chestnut Street in Athol closed due to water main break

ATHOL, Mass. (WWLP) – A water main break has closed a portion of Chestnut Street in Athol on Tuesday.

According to the Athol Police Department, Chestnut Street is closed from Main Street to Hapgood at Riverbend until further notice. It is advised to use another route when traveling on Tuesday.

There is no word on when the road is going to reopen.
