    MGM Springfield’s free concerts kick off Friday

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Live music returns to MGM Springfield with free concerts performed on Fridays.

    Memorial Day 2024 observances in western Massachusetts

    Free Music Fridays Concert Series kicks off with a Rolling Stones tribute band, The Blushing Brides, on May 24th. Every Friday through September 6th, live performances will be held on The Plaza outside MGM Springfield starting at 7:30 p.m.

    3. June 7: Pink Horses
    4. June 14: Changes in Latitudes
    5. June 21: Zac N’ Fried
    6. June 28: MALADO!
    7. July 5: American Honey
    8. July 12: We May Be Right
    9. July 19: Sensacion Urbana
    10. July 26: Trailer Trash
    11. August 2: The Great Escape
    12. August 9: Back in Black
    13. August 16: Johnny Sixgun
    14. August 23: Brass Attack
    15. August 30: Draw the Line
    16. September 6: Aquanett

    “MGM Springfield could not be more thrilled to bring back the incredibly popular Free Music Fridays concert series on The Plaza,” said Amanda Croteau, MGM Springfield Director of Entertainment. “We know there is nothing like live music and this season has something for everyone. Many fan favorites are in the lineup, and we are also excited to welcome several new performers to The Plaza stage. We have no doubt guests will love all of the new additions we have planned for the entire FMF experience. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a fantastic season!”

    For the 4th year, MGM is partnering with  White Lion Brewing to offer craft beer during the concerts. Local food trucks will also be set up including, New England Butcher Block, Batch Ice Cream, Wake the Dead Donuts, Jeannie’s Weenies, and MGM Springfield’s Guac This Way.
