    Granby to host ribbon-cutting ceremony for Veterans Memorial Park

    GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the Granby Veterans Memorial Park on Sunday.

    Honor Memorial Day at ceremonies and parades around Whately

    According to a news release from the Granby Police Department, the Granby Veterans Memorial Committee, the Friends of Granby Veterans, and the Granby American Legion Post 266 will be hosting the ceremony at 257 State Street.

    Invocation kicks off the event at noon, followed by the National Anthem with the ceremony to officially begin at 12:15 p.m. Parking is limited and will be located on the site and overflow parking will be available at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, which will be across the street at 256 State Street.

    Granby’s annual Memorial Day Parade hosted by Granby American Legion Post 266 will take place on Memorial Day at 9:00 a.m.
