Holyoke bridge closure to begin Monday for reconstruction

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – MassDOT contractors will begin reconstruction on the Mountain Park Road bridge starting next week.

The City of Holyoke will see significant traffic disruptions starting Monday, August 19th, as MassDOT contractors begin a major reconstruction project on the Mountain Park Road bridge over I-91.

The bridge will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the project, which is expected to be completed by late Spring 2025. Pedestrian access will remain open throughout the construction period.
