WEATHER ALERT: Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – A 22News Storm Team Weather Alert has been issued for the chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms on Thursday that could be strong to severe.

Thursday night, showers are possible through 9 pm. Clearing happens late evening and overnight, with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Friday looks to be a mix of sun and clouds and very hazy with some wildfire smoke. A scattered light shower or sprinkle is possible. Highs in the mid-80s.
