SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Three men were arrested Thursday morning after shots were fired at a barbershop in Springfield.

The incident occurred Thursday around 10:10 a.m. at a barbershop located on the 500 block of St. James Avenue.

Officers working an extra detail were alerted to the gunfire and quickly observed a vehicle speeding away from the scene. Springfield police, including the Firearms Investigation Unit, and K9 Unit, coordinated to arrest the suspects. Officers in the area saw the suspect vehicle, driven by Victor Cabrera-Quinones , as it turned onto State Street from St. James Avenue. Despite attempts to conduct a traffic stop, Cabrera-Quinones allegedly maneuvered recklessly through traffic, running red lights and endangering public safety.
