Road closures in Pittsfield due to local events

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – According to the city of Pittsfield multiple roads will be closed on Saturday, August 17th due to two community events.

Starting in the early afternoon Robbins Avenue will be closed for the annual Soap Box Derby. Tyler Street will also be closed for a backpack giveaway and Block Party. The closures will start at noon and end at 4 p.m.

The city is asking drivers to be cautious and follow detours.
