Thunderbirds Community Caravan returns to Westfield

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Thunderbirds Community Caravan returns to Amelia Park in Westfield for its last of three stops this summer.

The event will include a public ice skating session inside the arena, an appearance from Thunderbirds mascot Boomer and team staff, a wide variety of activities and vendors, street hockey activities, and various food options.

This Caravan will also host a food drive to benefit Rachel’s Table in Westfield. Fans are encouraged to donate any non-perishable food items to those in need. The Thunderbirds will have a donation collection area at Amelia Park throughout the day.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
