Two injured after car crashes into McDonald’s on Boston Road in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Fire Department was sent to Boston Road on Saturday after a car crashed into the McDonald’s.

According to Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, one person removed themselves from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital for their injuries. Another person was also taken to the hospital due to injuries from the crash.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. 22News will update this story as soon as more information becomes available.
