    Here is where the West Springfield parade will be marching

    WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – West Springfield has been celebrating its 250th anniversary all year long and Saturday residents will line the streets for a parade!

    Busy Labor Day travel on the road begins in just one week

    Marchers will gather at the St. Thomas School parking lot starting at 9 a.m. and the parade steps off at 11 a.m. The parade route goes down Kings Highway, then onto North Boulevard, from there onto Westfield Street, and then Van Deene Avenue before ending at the Town Hall on Central Street.

    Parade participants include the mummers, the Melha Shriners, and other community groups. 22News Storm Team Meteorologist Adam Strzempko will be riding in the Weather Tracker, be sure to give him a wave!

    After the parade, there will be live music and other entertainment until 3 p.m.
