Portion of Route 5 in Enfield closed due to crash

ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – A portion of Route 5 in Enfield is closed due to a motor vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

According to the Enfield Police, three occupants in a pickup truck and a car were involved in a serious crash.

The Enfield Police have the road closed in both directions between Post Office Road and Nutmeg Ave and South Rd between Route 5 by Phoenix Ave. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
