Free back-to-school haircuts and backpacks in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two free haircut and backpack giveaway events are taking place in Pittsfield.

The Pittsfield Community Engagement Unit has teamed up with two hair salons to offer free haircuts and limited backpacks for students. To get kids excited for their return to school next week, Winston the Pittsfield Police Department’s therapy dog shows off his fresh cut and backpack.

Four One Three Salon located at 54 Wendell Ave in Pittsfield is offering free haircuts from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, August 23rd.

AllStar Barber Shop located at 308 Tyler Street. in Pittsfield will offer free haircuts from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 26th.
