Police investigating morning shooting in Adams

ADAMS, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are investigating a shooting in the town of Adams on Saturday.

According to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office, the Adams Police Department and a State Police Detective Unit were sent to a shooting at 7 a.m.

22News has learned that two people were involved. One person was shot and is being treated for life-threatening injuries. This incident is still being investigated and it is not believed to be a threat to the public.
