Last day to visit the 156th Annual Cummington Fair

CUMMINGTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The Cummington Fairgrounds will be hosting the final day of its 156th Annual Agricultural Fair on Sunday.

The Cummington Fair has been part of the Hilltown culture for 156 years. This year’s fair is bigger and better than ever with the amusement rides, the animals, and the truck pull show. There is also a new merchandise booth in the 4H building that features t-shirts, sweatshirts, sunglasses, blankets, coffee mugs, and more.

Sunday is “Old Fashioned Day” at the fair with gates opening at 7:00 a.m. The schedule for the last day of the fair is as follows, according to the Cummington Fair:

• 8:30 am Antique Engines & Tractor Show Open
• 9:00 am Judging of Adult Livestock (Show Ring)/ Craft Barn / Exhibit Hall / Ag Ed Sheds Open
• 10:00 am Western Mass. Lumberjack Championship/Jolley Interactive Experience (roving the grounds)/Al Getler “Ventriloquist”  (Pavilion)
• Kids Fun Corner 10-5 pm (tent near sheep barn)
• 11:00 am Midway and Rides Open/Horses, Horses, Horses (Outdoor Arena)/Kids Pedal Tractor Pull (in front of grandstands)/Silver Circus (Pavilion)
• Noon 3100# Draft Horses (Pulling Arena)
• 1:30 pm Horses, Horses, Horses (Outdoor Arena)/Silver Circus (Pavilion)
• 2:00 pm Golden Wedding Contest (Track)/Antique Car and Tractor Parade/Generation X Rock (Main Stage)
• 2:30 pm Al Getler “Ventriloquist”  (Pavilion)
• 3:00 pm Horses, Horses, Horses (Outdoor Arena)/Silver Circus (Pavilion)/3400# Draft Horses (Pulling Arena)
• 4:00 pm Generation X Rock (Main Stage)
• 6:00 pm Just in Kase (Pavilion)
