New Hampshire man arrested after two-vehicle crash in Bernardston

BERNARDSTON, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from New Hampshire was arrested on Friday following a two-vehicle crash in Bernardston.

According to the Bernardston Police Department, on Friday at 3:22 p.m., crews were sent to Route 10 and Turners Falls Road for a two-car motor vehicle accident. No serious injuries were reported, however, one of the drivers, a 42-year-old man from Dublin, New Hampshire, was arrested.

The man was found to have a firearm, ammunition, and drugs in his possession. The New Hampshire man was given a bail of $5,000 and was taken to the Frankin County House of Corrections. He has been charged with the following:

• Operating w/ Suspended License
• Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle
• Failure to Use Care when Stopping/Starting/Turning
• Carry a Loaded Firearm without a License
• Possess Ammo without FID
• Carry a Dangerous Weapon
• Possess a Class B Drug
